Who We Are: Our Story and Vision

African Reformers in Italy (AFRIT) is a volunteer organization founded in 2018 the desire of a group of African professionals from different fields. We were legally established on July 25, 2020 (Tax Code: 94643710158), with the goal of becoming a concrete point of reference within the community. The birth of AFRIT was divinely orchestrated as we all, in our different endeavors, burned with the same passion: to see other Africans thrive as we are doing.

My AFRIT Testimony

One thing I genuinely appreciate about AFRIT is its visionary commitment to creating my spaces for growth, information-sharing, and practical support.

Through AFRIT, I’ve had meaningful opportunities to connect with other Africans navigating life, study, and work in Italy. Beyond networking, I’ve seen – and I sincerely appreciate – how the platform encourages conversations around integration, education, career development, and community responsibility.

Personally, AFRIT has also provided a platform for me to contribute intellectually and socially through seminars, community engagement, and dialogue around migration and integration in Italy. I have also benefited from its integration services, including the Italian language class. I value the intentionality behind the vision, especially the effort to build a more informed, connected, and empowered African community in Italy.

Wishing AFRIT greater growth and impact ahead!

Successful Africans for a Better Italy.

Our vision is simple:
We work to change the way the African community is perceived in Italy by promoting a proactive and success-driven mindset. Our main goal is to bridge the information gap and cultural distance that often isolates immigrants, helping both newcomers and long-term residents fully integrate into Italian society.
